Yes in settings you can change the background color to what ever you like I use a matt light blue.

I can only find an options tab. Where would the settings tab be? Is there more than one version? I'm using the o2 light and this is drivin me nuts cuz I cant see the yellow. thx
In the menu, go to Files -> Options
Scroll down until you see "Background Color"
Double click on that, select the color you want and OK.
Close O2 and launch it again.
By example with a light grey :
And anything that is not bright, it is easier to see those yellow lines

Don't worry, i am using O2 since years and i noticed this background option just 2 or 3 months ago
I just started, but I'm having fun learning it. Its not as hard as I thought. I havent figured out how to do freehand yet. I need to so I can do an M88 recovery vehicle.
