For OAC? Hmmm. I guess PVPScene really likes his Yoma tools. I think they aren't really a replacement for mirrored distribution from websites.

OAC will provide "only" the terrains with "generic" textures and a config to play old Missions with ArmA Units. CWR provides you the original terrains with custom textures and all native OFP vehicles. Which one you prefer is up to you. But surely OAC will also not give you 100% working OFP Missions because the more complicated an OFP mission is, the more complicated it is to play this mission in ArmA without modifying it. Maybe one mission works better with OAC than CWR or vice versa, or it doesn't work at all no matter what you try. Too many things has changed since the OFP day in regards to mission development to provide 100% compatibility.
First of all, sorry for my late reply. I hope I didnt break any forum rules.
Hello. I have lost my old ArmA license and I am thinking of rebuying the game for 10$ just to play this mod.
My question: is it worth it?
Second question: where to buy? cuz I read that you need 1.6 version or something and im not sure if I will get it from gog.com (maybe they are selling the updated version)
Thanks!
Provided you have a machine that can run it you might be better off getting Arma II and Operation Arrowhead to play the CWR2 incarnation of the mod.
Regards,
Sander
I would stand by sander on this one. If you have the computer, and are going to buy a game anyway, I would consider buying ArmA 2: Combined Ops instead, even if just for CWR2. What we have in CWR2 is far superior to CWR.
First of all, thanks you for reply (and you sander)
I have combined Ops on steam and also a new PC
But. CWR2 is just a demo, right? does it have the whole Flashpoint campaign?
I preffer playing the whole campaign even it have lower graphics, if it fully working on ArmA1 without any major bugs.

No it has not yet the whole campaign, but soon(TM) we hope you all are able to play it.
Your call of course, but if I could decide between playing the whole campaign in ArmA with quite a few bugs in CWR1 or playing the demo campaign plus a hell lot of Missions in CWR² then I surely would go for the latter. Especially if I would have to pay 10$ to buy ArmA first.![]()
Cool thanks for your reply, I think I will redownload ArmA2 from steam and download the demo of CWR2
BTW, if you have time to add the followoing info: how many missions of the campaign and normal missions are there in CWR2? or is there a some kind of source I can download new missions for CWR2?
Thanks!!

The Demo campaign has 9 missions and ends after "Undercover".
The current Mission package contains 21 official SP Missions plus 8 Bonus ones. There are also 32 MP Missions (Coop, DM, CTF etc) in the package.
And then there is Sanders CWR² Coop pack with currently 70 missions in it.
Enough to keep you busy for a while.![]()
