After abandoning Arma1 and leaving it unfinished they really expect us to buy Arma 2 with reviews like?

I didn't know they announced the were done with A1. I'm upset I didn't consult CrispyGamer.com before I bought A2. After playing for well over a month I didn't realize I was playing such a terrible game. I guess I'll just have to play the Campaign for a 3rd time and spend more time trying to figure out how bad A2 is.

the beta patch 1.16 beta running great at my vista64 and win7 64bit with 6gb ram but the great problem i have is:

My Favorite Server is running under linux and there is no 1.16 beta patch i cant play with my friends !

i am very angry about bohemia.

what is the problem of bohemia to release an new or a linux 1.16 beta patch???

i doesnt buy ArmA 2 before ArmA not running with all.

i think, bohemia means there is ArmA 2 play this, but i didnt do this.

Maybe you don't know but ArmA2 was released and BIS are fixing the existing bugs. They are kinda busy with it..

Why can't you play with your friends using your main 1.14 installation of ArmA.

You did install beta 1.16 in the beta folder didn't you?
You did then make a separate shortcut to run this beta version didn't you.

If you had done this you could pick and choose which version to play.

I have a problem with 1.14 not running properly (ATI + big mem), which is resolved in 1.16 beta. So I basicly can't play ArmA online because all servers run 1.14. Offline it isn't a problem ofcourse. For that reason I can see why people want a final 1.16.

So I can see the pain some people must have.

Then again I have A2 to and preferably i would like the developers to work on that more.
