Major technical problems

Hi guys I was wondering if you could help me. I've just purchased the Gold Edition and I get a major technical problem. Every time I run the game, it'll run perfectly well for a random length of time and suddenly the system will freeze me out (The game locks out)

Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo T5450 @ 1.66 GHz
Memory: 2 GB Ram
Operating System: Windows Vista 32 Bit
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GS
Sound Card: Conexant High Definition Audio

If your running game version 1.08 straight out the box you might want to patch up to 1.14 or even 1.15 beta
