I have Geforce 2 and 800 mhz athlon computer with 128 ram but i cannot play a single mission at least the big ones without the game crashes. Im very dissapointed and confused. My friend havent experienced such problems so i dont know what to do. I Tried playing att 800-30
and other resolutions but still not.
Please give me a help .
i have more or less the same pc (duron 800 ) and with me everything goes fine, a month ago i had 128 meg ram (now 265 but that made not much difference) so i guess your problem is something else (directx is often a cause )
I would suggest getting the latest drivers for your hardware.
GPU, sound card and also motherboard drivers.
Also disable programs running in the background like antivirus programs etc

Moving to T
Please do not PM or Email me directly about your CD Key issues, follow the guidance in this thread instead.
Is your windows swapfile size limited (user set)? Or is it being 'managed by windows'?
Do any errors appear when the game crashes? Perhaps you could paste the latest entries from flashpoint.rpt here.
Thanks for the help i appriciate it.
This problem can this have something to do that i play with the original version without upgrading the game? i know there are many patches but i dont know. My friend said that i should download the the patches so the game will not freeze and crash.
Smaller missions i can play but when i play missions like commander i reach the town and then it crashes. I still have the picture but freezed.

Personally I would always suggest updating to the latest version of anything

Hey don't worry about it, you only said those things because you realise Opf is a great game and want to get the best out of it
Yes you should get the latest update for your card, and for the game, and for via 4-1 (assuming your motherboard has the via chipset).
However I don't think those are what are causing this actual problem you are having in game, as was suggested above it could be caused by your swapfile.
How much free hard drive space do you have?
