Awright, I bought new screen and it's 16:10. When I go play ArmA loading screens and editor map are 4:3. In game it's OK, 16:10 though you dont have GPS, clock, radio messages, command bar and stuff on the edge but few cm to center.
If you have larger resolution you should be able to have more guys in command bar (bottom of screen). I mean I have room for like 15 soldiers not just 10 and next-prew icon.
So my point is that you add 16:10, 16:9... loading screens, editor map and some options that you could cusomise your hud. Like some dude said that you should be able to customise actions bar (get in, eject...). Thats how you should be able to move the clock, GPS, compas... wherever you want, right in the edge or on middle of the screen if you wanted to.

But you still have only 12 'F' keys on your keyboard, so this idea wouldn't work.

Alpha is alpha.
Not if you are able to bind additional keys. Let's not mention that there is no sound for number 13+.
By the way, if you have set resolution on 1680x1024@60 then you can lower everything on low or even disable AF and AA to boost FPS in towns, near/in objects (buildings) and it still gonna look supreme.
