Time Lapse in ArmA and OFP

Hi,

I am trying to create a time-lapse sunrise in arma and ofp for a video I am making. I need the sun to rise over a period of a few seconds. I remember this being done in a cutscene in the original OFP in a mission where you were a POW on Kolgujev.

I am no good at scripting. Does anyone have any idea how this could be done?
