Heya mate, this looks fantastic I can't wait to try it out, thankyou so much for making it !

Havn't managed to get it to shoot anything down or kill anything myself. Good model and textures though!

Ah, I take that back. Although it does seem to have trouble engaging or perhaps take too long unless you sit right under its nose. Also, just buzzing around in the AH-1, I can take multiple hits and still land ok. And those missiles look pretty big to me.

Yeah if one of those bad boys were to hit your chopper in real life, I don't think you'd be landing in any way but in pieces or in a flaming ball of fire.

Aaaaaaarg! I'm at the university right now so I can't test it... Are the missile proxies working on it? By that I mean, do the missiles disappear after launching them? I hope so. It sure looks beautiful!!!

Hehe, I wasn't implying they look out of proportion!

Just saying I didn't expect to have much Viper left to land.  tounge2.gif

It also has a lot of issues targetting fixed wing, had quite a few dummy runs on it before it twitched towards me. And when it does fire, the splash damage is too low to do any noticable damage. Although I expect all this is just down to config values.

Hi, when i put the SA-6 Gainful on the editor (Rahmadi) i get this

error message:

After hit "accept" then i can enter in the mission; i wasn't unable

of aim, target ot advise the driver that we had an AH-6 heading to

us. It haven't (yet) damage textures, when you fire, the missile's

flame shows a entire white square arroun the visible flame, when

you hit the "turn out" option in the actions menu, outside you don't

see the heads of the crew or any hatches movement; it floats yeah,

but it floats until sink a bit the missiles, having all the hull into the

water plus a big portion of the launcher turret, the suspension and

tracks work well, but the lights don't work (yet), also the texture

is a bit plain (yet) and the front hatches will look much better

having 3D's and not only a texture. That's all what i've seen

when i've try it just with the V1.14 and BIS units (an AH-6).

Nice to see some serious SAMs (pun not intended) at last. Anyway, do you have any plans to make a Tunguksa and / or S-300 / 400? Perhaps a Chaparral and Patriot?

This thing is sooo manoverable, I love it. it almost feels as good as an M1a1.

But i noticed, when you select turn out. the heads dont turn out. But the Rocket launcher seems to turn in only.

The Missiles seem really hard to aim for me, is it possible to have a lock on feature?. Or is there one already and i havnt just noticed?..

It looks awesome and everything...... but..... Its far too docile.... The only chance it stands against air units is if they hover around it for ages.... And even if it does engage... and then hit.... its missile's do next to no damage... great looking unit but needs tweaking..... Could do with a greatly incresed engagement range and an ir scanner..

Hiho great addon, but I found some bugs in it sad_o.gif*using ArmA 1.14*

I guess you designed it with ground-to-air missile function but you can still shoot at tanks with it. I don't know if you wish to keep that wink_o.gif

After destroying it, there were no damage textures (Click me). I've destroyed a BIS BRDM just to be sure there isn't any problem with one of my arma files.

Once a fired all 3 missiles I was reequipped with new ammo at an ural ammo truck. The ammo counter increased up to 3 again but the new missiles were missing.

Maybe you should increase the damage of the missiles. My A-10 survived 1 direct hit in the ass. The plane lost its ability to fly due to some damage but I don't think it should survive one hit. My AH-6 survived even 2 direct hits. I suppose it's not your fault because BIS increased the armour of planes and helicopters in general since 1.12 beta.

Except that I love it biggrin_o.gif Tomorrow I'll marry it biggrin_o.gif
