Thread: Unable to load up O2!

  1. #1
Hello everyone. becuase i havd many problems getting the ArmA version of oxygen to work i wanted to switch back to the ofp oxygen. so i did it exactly as written in brsseb's tutorial but somehow, after changing the DLL-paths in objective2light.exe it won't start up anymore. only buldozer starts and remains in the upper left corner of the display. but o2 itself doesn't load up. i see it starting for about 1sec but then closes again?! what can i do to get it back workin'?
even a total reinstall didn't help, and yes, i do have flashpoint resistance installed...

    please help me out!?
    thx in advance

This is how i install mine :

    On BIS breath website
    http://www.flashpoint1985.com/breathe/
    NOTICE
The Breath website seems dead since BIS modified their website.
But you can get the Breath content from there

    -Get Oxygen Light
Extract o2light.zip, you will have a folder that contains exactly this :

    Rename that folder exactly
    o2
    -Get Oxygen Viewer
Extract o2viewer.zip, you will have a folder containing exactly this :

    Rename that folder exactly
    ofpedit
-Now, put the folder named o2 inside of the folder named ofpedit
So it looks like this :

-Drop the folder named ofpedit in C:\
    So you obtain C:\ofpedit

-Launch O2 by double clicking on Objektiv2Light.exe that can be found in :
    C:\ofpedit\o2\Objektiv2Light.exe

-Click on File then Options, and setup the options exactly like this :

(the last 4 lines are irrelevant, it just tells where are the last files i worked on myself)

This way you can launch O2 without having to use those annoying .bat that create "Z:\" stupid folders

Note : the file Pal2Pac.dll located in C:\ofpedit is more recent that the one of the same name located in C:\ofpedit\o2\
So replace the older one with the most recent.
