I'm new to creating missions in Arma, and did read the wiki before posting, but still have a couple questions.
a) I can't figure out how to create a mission in the editor that has mission objectives (not simply a waypoint). For example, in the single mission category, under 'create a mission' one can chose between move, target (or destroy), defend, and these will show up on the notepad, and when accomplished, will end the mission.
Can this be done in the editor alone, so that the mission has an objective that shows up in the notepad, and when accomplished (all objectives with the green check mark) will end the mission, and lead to the debriefing screen? While this can be done under 'create a mission', the editing is much more limited than with the editor -where more troops, triggers, ect, can be added.
b) When I added multiple groups in the editor -say 3 groups of 8 soldiers, where the leaders were playable, I discovered after landing the whole group in 2 helo flights, or perhaps after switching between leaders, that 2 out of 3 of the respective leaders could no longer control their troops -individual soldiers would not show up at the bottom of the screen. Is this a bug or normal? Is it possible to create say 4 switchable leaders that can each control say 8 soldiers each?
Thanks. Having a great time with Arma otherwise.

I'm not quite sure about how to create objectives in the editor I believe there is a way though.
I think someone here knows. If no one else posts I'll read up and see if I can find anything.
*edit* check this out
