Hello guys.
A while back, i decided to start a website of my own to focus on tactical realism games.
I feel this kind of games is declining, but it's my favourite kind of games so i wanted to bring them under attention more.

The goal of my website is to make reviews about all the games i own, know and love.
I combine these reviews with gameplay video's hosted on Youtube, under the name SiCDisaster.
I pick my games on a few factors: 1 shot 1 kill gameplay, openness of levels (allowing for tactical movement, that is), and the ability to apply tactics.

The link is: SiC's Tactical Gaming Refuge

The games i have reviewed so far consist of Swat 4, Rainbow Six: Rogue Spear, Rainbow Six: Raven Shield, Armed Assault, and Ghost Recon.
Hidden and Dangerous series, Full Spectrum Warrior and some others are still to follow. I've got Red Orchestra: Ostfront 41-45 in the pipeline.

Also, i've written an article on tactical movement, as well as a translation of the Armed Assault 2 preview in the German PCGames magazine. (dont tell anyone official! I'm not sure if its allowed! )
A demo section is up, as well as a custom missions/plans page (containing an Armed Assault mission for the XAM mod, and a custom plan for R6:RS).
Co-op video's of Armed Assault can be found as well.
Also, check out the forums

I hope you guys enjoy it! Leave something in the guestbook or on the forums if you want

Lazy people, all you have to do is take the full URL and remove the first part of it until you end up with http://www.freewebs.com/tacticalgamingrefuge/
Creating ArmA:CWA addons at a snail's pace and newsposter @ OFPr.info.

URL fixed.

Couple of tips:

1. When you post a URL somewhere, take the 0.23 seconds to check it works.
2. If you make a website don't use freewebs, the worst free webhost known to man, there are billions of free hosts out there better than freewebs.
3. If you want to impress people, at least give the HTML page a title of some kind rather, seeing | at the top of my firefox tab doesn't exactly cause much excitement

That said, anything that spreads the tactical gaming message to the masses can only be a good thing, so much gaming dross out there with so many poor, deluded souls to convert
If someone reports an issue/complains about the Alpha etc, replying in the thread "dude it's an alpha" doesn't really help anyone! Point them to the Arma3 Alpha feedback tracker instead please!

Please do not PM or Email me directly about your CD Key issues, follow the guidance in this thread instead.

You see, the url DOES work for me
Used freewebs cause im a total HTML nublet, and this basically allows me to just place stuff i want, instead of writing entire codes to get them.
I do remember trying to put a name on the page though I'll have to check that one again and try to do it better.
Been focussing more on content at first

Put up a new review, for Red Orchestra: Ostfront 41-45 as well as a small preview for one of it's 3 major mods, Mare Nostrum

Regarding the Swat 4 review, you forgot about the VIP multi player mode, which just alone is worth the price of the game IMO.

Anyway, nice site

You might already know this but I thought i'd say it just in case; all you need to do to have a title is change that | to Sic's Tactical Gaming Refuge.

I like the site so far. I was reading the ArmA review and it was pretty good.

The only thing that kind of bugged me was that I had to keep scrolling over to finish lines. Maybe making the page a bit less wide might help. I think the pictures might need to be shrunk that could be the problem. Its just kind of annoying to have to keep scrolling over to finish sentences. Otherwise I like it.

Allright, i updated my Swat 4 review to include VIP mode information
Weird i forgot that ***

@ Jakerod, thanks for the site title suggestion. Freewebs doesnt use html stuff anymore so i couldnt add that line, but i found the option where i could change that.
My page now shows a name when you load it

As for having to scroll around to finish reading sentences, i found that to be different for various people.
I can read the sentences perfectly without having to scroll sideways, some others dont have problems with it either.
Then there are others who do have to scroll around like you, but i found those people use different kinds of webbrowsers.
That might be part of the problem, cause for a lot of people it appears fine.
(for example, it seems my site hates Opera)

Thanks for the feedback guys, it's appreciated

Also, i updated my website some more: added a new co-op video on the video section and added a whole-new photo-gallery with co-op pictures from ArmA sessions!
