    I 've started to put some intro music to the start of our CTF maps.But when i compress a 20 sec clip of music it is nearly 1MB.
    Does it make any dif to what type of file the original was as i've used Wav & MP3 so far and they all come up to nearly 1MB of sound in an OGG file.

    Only the chosen compression matters. Programs that are suitable for compressing are oggMaker, Audacity and GoldWave. 64 kbps and 44 KHz stereo is usually a good one.
