1.09 beta patch troubleshooting thread.

It installed properly as far as I can tell, but when I try to start 1.09 I get the following errors:

If you have Queens Gambit, the hotfix_QG.pbo and its .bisign go in your DBE1\Addons folder in the ArmA root.

The addons\hotfix_dbe1.pbo and its .bisign go in your beta\addons folder in arma root.

I have no idea about the CA_hotfix you mention there.

I had this, when i tried to run using ArmA Launcher, you have to run it directly from the shortcut it creates in your ArmA root folder

How do we get battleeye to work, when we enable it on the server we get an error about missing .dlls and when we go to the website and look for a download there website download page is blank.

We added this to the server.cfg

battlEye = 1;



www.BattlEye.com doesnt have any download links to the dlls or folders or anything ***

Battleye does not work. When starting the server with it enabled (battlEye = 1; ), an error pops up saying that the dll's are not a windows image (or something like that) and i've looked on Battleyes website and their downloads page is blank

Edit : Nothing in the beta folder either.

Opened the DLL in notepad and its blank / 0kb

I can confirm this problem. BE protection will not work at the moment.

I added it to
Known issues 1.09 @ community.bistudio.com

As well as problem when installing over 1.07 beta version.

My shortcut:
D:\Spill\ArmA\beta\arma.exe -mod=beta; -mod=DBE1 -nosplash

Any ideas?

Oh yeah, forgot to mention, It'll start without the -mod=DBE1 bit.
