Thread: Online cheaters

  1. #1
Some people have figured out to cheat on the online team matches. How they do it I don't know but here is what happens.

I played several games, the AI were turned off and the server and his friends were able to shoot my helicopter in 2 seconds flat in every game with their own helicopters or even planes!

I even tailed a plane once and I was hit 10 times. The freaking plane could shoot backwards!!

Helicopters could shoot me down even if they had no gunner and were out of sight or range.

This has been plaguing me how they do it but I despise their cheating method.

tango, this is an issue I have never fully gotten to grips with: why do players persist in cheating? Reminds of the days a few years ago, online playing Vietcong (a pretty solid shoot and sneak-fest) wherein the aimbot reduced the game to a pointless series of headshots.

Surely the greater fulfilment, fun and pleasure is gained from growing and learning with the game. Getting your ass handed to you, experiencing that sense of frustration, coming back and improving.

My theory is that it is those individuals who are seeking the more immediate thrill found in the battlefield-type games. Games where rewards are more readily gained or thwarted. Also somoe players just want to be seen as being 'better than you', etc.

BTW, any chance of adding me to your friend list? I go by the name mosimoshi
