Does every server have to play Evolution?

What if I want to play a real coop? or some ctf?
Seriously, 98% of the Arma servers do not need to play the same thing over and over. With the other 2% being dedicated to Sahrani Life RPG gayity.
Maybe it's just personal preference, but I don't like it, and I thought the ArmA community was a little higher brow to just play the same thing over and over. I mean, this adds a new meaning to "Dedicated Server."
I think the level of scripting in the mission shows fabulous coding talent that I can't begin to approach, but enough already.

Then go down the list to one of the many empty dedicated servers, vote yourself admin, and choose a different mission you would like to play. Of course not many will join because..... most players like evolution, don't blame it on the servers.

ArmA has never been this boring, same goes for the community.

Play some SP missions. The Cause is to recommend and far better then evolution.

I agree personally I like MFCTI from ofp. I tried to convert it but couldnt get the JIP working. Mike Melvin (MFCTI developer) is supposed to be working on it but he said that like 6 months ago. Anyone intrested in taking over what I did pm me and ill send you the files. There all sqs and theres around a 100 scripts. I miss the old days with clan matches or ladder matches.

Even a Player vs Player evolution would be a nice change. Red vs Blue taking over towns for cash or points where cash or points can build your base. Have Resistance in towns and flying around like they do now.

Destroying each others base to win!!

I know the vehicles are not exactly even but that could be fixed with scripting or a addon.

Anyways I hope killjoy's next work could be something like this.

I can safely say that evolution has never, and never will be on any of out 16AAB servers.

@blinkster we have a JIP working CRCTI which we have been playing for quire some time, perhaps that may satisfy your hunger for CTI.

The Kellys Heros and GOL clans servers are 2 i recommend to anyone who doesnt like evo, havent been on kellys in a while but from what i remember its usually coops or Vs maps they play. ***
As for GOL, had probably the best MP experience since i bought arma last febuary there last week. ***Its not alsways got people on it but it is good when there is.
