Yea, should, but that question really belongs in the Arma 2 board.Originally Posted by (Ghost_Zulu @ Sep. 22 2007,13:29)

will have to try these, as for the first time ever i had the dreaded the 8007000e error after i installed a total of 4GB RAM, this error is not related to Vista, its connected to 4GB RAM and ArmA, somehow i seriously doubt it will solve the matter, the only solution for me seems to be -maxmem=512, that sucks
System:
WinXP64 SP2
MSi 975x Platinum, latest bios v7.6 (which finally allows for 4GB RAM on XP64)
Intel Core 2 Duo MHz, Bus 331MHzX9, FSB 1324MHz
31c idle\ 44c load
4X1GB RAM Kingston HyperX 6400@828MHz@5-5-5-13@2v
BFG 8800GTX@stock speed
force V-Sinc off in Nvidia control panel and fps cap will be removed and M key map will load much faster, but you might experience some tearing of the image.Originally Posted by (Ghost_Zulu @ Sep. 22 2007,00:12)
So, you are unable to run ArmedA with WinXP64 bit +4GB? Do you get the same black screen as Vista64 +4GB users?Originally Posted by (Bonko the Sane @ Sep. 23 2007,03:33)
Odie3
Ghost Dogs
Win7x64 | Intel 64 i7-2600 | ASUS P8Z68-V PRO | 8GB | EVGA GeForce GTX 460 | 1 Intel 520 Series Cherryville SSD | 1 WD Red WD20EFRX 2TB | X-Fi Fatal1ty-Pro |
nope, its runs very well, excellent FPS at highest settings, but after a while i get the 8007000e error, only if im running with 4GB RAM, with 2Gb its as good as it gets.Originally Posted by (Odie3 @ Sep. 23 2007,15:50)
Agreed Same Here.Originally Posted by (Bonko the Sane @ Sep. 23 2007,19:52)

Got the game to run a marginally better.
I realized I was testing it on a edited map of mine, which had alot of events going on in one cycle.
Changed my Virtual Memory to 4gig x 3 /Ran Ntune-"TuneSystem" again 14% increase in performance not including memory timing adjustments. Ran Riva Tuner to increase Shader performance (1350 was the increase)
Ran a few Vista utilities to enhance system performance.
Map= Rah
30-60 average 45 FPS with shadows off....Shadows on is playable but at 25-19FPS-4 Tanks incoming plus 12xnormal amount of enemy groups, drops no more than 20FPS. View distance scaled back to 1000 something at 10000 FPS 25-19 this is before encountering any enemies_All options on High. except shadows off. Object detail very high, anistrophic very high, Anti is at 8---- res 1280x1024_
MP 24 people connected. Same setting playing Evolution Ping 64ms FPS held at 25-35 in most areas. View distance 3k something
Very playable...Problem with me is, even though its playable I still have the urge to push more buttons to squeeze out even more performance if I can.
what does map=rah mean?
