I don't know about this... Makes me think about their supporters starting to sue the armed forces of America and other nations.

I'm guessing this is far more complicated then it seems. ***I would think that the suits would have to be filed int he country that the "offender" resides.

In this case it appears they are suing a bank, far easier then suing some shadow terrorist group eh?

But if some "charity" was found to collecting money for terrorists, and somehow the $-trail could be traced to an act of terrorism...that would be an interesting case.

Generally, this is so pointless as if you spit in the ocean, and expect that the ocean will rise because of it. But good for a widdow, maybe she'll collect some cream, and that's it.

As if a terrorist organization is going to give two shits about a lawsuit... The guys she sued are already convicted, what's the point?

Only the bank holds some merit, but once you understand the extent of the support for Al Qaeda in Pakistan you'll know that this is pointless.

The ISI rules pakistan and the ISI created the taliban. They get funds and support from China too, good luck suing them.

They get cash from Saudi millionares/chinese gov, that paki bank is just a small hub. Suing them is like throwing a log into the Danube and calling it a dam.

i don't see what sueing terrosts will achieve. they aren't going to be paying anything. so why waste time and money putting a case together? infact the idea of taking them to court does more harm in my opinion. it allows them to make a mockery of the court, the media will put it up in the headlines making it easy propaganda for their cause. sentancing them to death makes them a maytr, sentancing them to prison causes kidnappings in exchange for their release. better off just killing them in the field and moving on.

you dont get it ... this is not about lawsuit against terrorist itself (even they named too) ...

they key 'target' are supporting groups, organizations, banks, corporations and so on ...

if well executed ... You can do more damage than with several JDAMs ...
