Thread: Locking invisible object

    Ok two things on the next patch should be fixed...


    1: You take any tank go over a mountain and start right clicking every where u will probably lock on a ennemy pretty soon even if its behind a rock tree and its more than 1km away now you can simply camp over and shoot anything without a chance been fire back... THIS IS REALLY ANNOYING can you fix it so ennemy can lock on you if he dont have LOS on you...


    2: Satchel should be desarmed... Every CTF players would say satchel charge are the baddest thing on earth!!!! You manage to kill 1 zillions soldiers get near the flag got full smoke cover get the flag AND BOOOM satchel explode... This isnt the way it should appen! We need a way to disarm satchel! Any loser can hide in a bush with no LOS on you and blow those damn satchel! Plz, fix this soon im getting tired of it!

    2 suggestions that may be a good way to add this feature....

    1) either have the engineer capable of disarming a satchel...

    or

    2) allow a kit to be picked up from base which allows for any soldier (given the time) to disarm a satchel.

    Can't black ops disarm satchel charges? In single player they can disarm satchel charges they've placed themselves.

    yes...they can disarm their own satchel charges...but not ones placed by other players. The problem is in multiplay when an opposing team member puts a satchel charge by their flag pole in CTF...then when the "NATO FLAG CAPTURED BY XXX" displays, all they have to do is hit their detonate button...they can hide anywhere whithin range and not even have to physically see the enemy take the flag because the game will tell them that the guy took the flag. Its a cheap tactic...the ability to disarm enemy satchels would do away with this.

    I really hate CTFs which include satchel charges, no fun when a message pops up "x has the flag" - "bommmmmm"

    A couple of options I think could be implemented:
    1/ Make an option which disables the "x has the flag message",
    Like anything the first you should knkow it's missing is when you see it is gone or a team mate tells you it is not longer there.
    2/ Allow charges to be detonated by gun fire/ granades etc and allow them to be disarmed. At least then there is a chance of disabling them but still allows the use of charges.

    I dont know a whole lot about this kind of stuff, but if Im not mistaken...arent satchel charges made with c4??? I think you can take a blow torch to c4 and it wont explode...so maybe a shot wouldnt do it either...I may be completely off base here...anyone know for sure???

    err&#33; Sorry, but what do you expect BIS to do in this case?
    1) Satchels in a multiplayer mission can be added/removed
    by the mission creator
    2) The message who has the flag, can be added/removed
    by the mission creator

    In times like these (when 5 is still down, oh no he&#39;s still down),
    you are asking BIS to spend their time on changing things, which could be easily managed by ourselves.

    Even if the mission designer decided to use satchel&#39;s in this
    CTF, there could still be a way to prevent from getting
    satcheled near the flagpole: kill the guy, who placed this
    damn satchel
