    Hi folks,

    To get some new conditions into ArmA, i changed the M1A1 to an M1A2 and his feature. I hope we can add sometime an new model to this release, so it also looks authentic like an real M1A2. But that wont happen until release of Oxygen3 Light and other tools.
    I hope you all enjoy this little modification and have fun with it.

    FEATURES:
    ========

    - M1A1 modified to an M1A2

    - Fuel capability added and setup to the duration of sahrani

    - Engine shut down while in combat added

    - New M1A2 Engine Sounds added

    - New M1A2 Track Sounds added

    - New Turret Sounds added

    - Individual Hit-Zones (Front, Left, Right, Back) added

    - M1A1 street topspeed of 72KM/h changed to M1A2 reallike topspeed of 79KM/h

    - Sahrani zones like camo textures by denny piranha =dL= added

    Good job but I agree with Oswald: the best balancing should be to put a T 90

    you want balance newest heavy US tank to the tank from 1960/1970 with no ERA and no ceramic armor ?

    T72 weights 42 tons, M1A2 60 tons

    M60 was worse than T72, but M1A2 in Afgan and Iraq war showed the T72 has no chance
    i understand you can comapre to newest T80U, but to T72 ?

    so there is my suggestion for your next addon - make the same accuracy of Makarov and M24 to make it comparable

    and power of AKS74UN comparable to hit of M107

    why, lol the T72 only has 700 armor. so he still needs two hits sometimes.

    there is no t-80 or t-90 out yet and everybody cries "the US Forces are inbalanced". so tell me what u want guys?
    i still can change it in 5 minutes.

    You better change it, the WHOLE game getting inbalanced with this setting. Anway the skins are great and the features awesome&#33; Would like to see some new Stryker Features with this skins, maybe also a thermalvision?&#33;

    Authentic Warfare Studios has modified Stryker with this skins but we will not release it.

    US forces are not balanced - it is true
    but as Metallica sings "sad but true"

    M1A2 is newest heavy tank, T72 is 20 tones lighter, it has better maneuverability in terrain, it can cross weaker bridges, but it cannot be comparable

    M1A2 is like Leopard 2A6, Chellenger 2

    in real life US forces are inbalanced too
    look at modern wars - poor , hungry people with AK in tshirt against massive bombings of F16, Abrams tanks and well trained soldiers with newest vests and with NVG or even termovision scopes on automatic rifles of long distance Barrets

    war is not nice and not fair, wins this who have more money for new equipement

    in modern war casualties US/rest of world are about 1:20 - 1:50
    how many Iraq or other Arabs died ? 30 000 or maybe 40 000 against 2000 (with some friendly fire also and accidents) ?

    in first ARMA version BIS made some mistakes - AK74 kicks as hell, althought is is very balanced/stable weapon

    M4 has the same range of effective fire in game, but not in real life as AK

    for me BIS even made Abrams too weak

    in Iraq there were accidents when Abrams shot by T72 survived and returned fire without any problems, so i made my Abrams even more stronger about 1200 (to avoid situation when one shot in front hull of turret kills tank)
    maybe parameters of front/rear armor will help, but we don&#39;t have tools, we don&#39;t know if BIS made selections like front, rear armor, we don&#39;t know if it works

    i agree that Abrams is much much stronger in front, but weak in rear side, but without tools we just can give armor of whole vehicle

    please make addons as realistic as sources/knowledge helps you
