Great news as i always play from time to time a starcraft skirmish with some cpu, i am interested by this sequel.

I was annoyed by those mmorpg rumours, as i don't care at all of this kind of game, good to see blizzard is going back to their rts roots.
I just hope the 2nd game will be up to the expectations though, the rts market has already lots of good titles, a mediocre game will have no chances.

By the screens and movies on the site, it's close to alpha/beta stage. There is a game engine, moveis, and count on Blizzard to have a good story.

Red Alert, Warcraft II, Starcraft... Man those were good times.

oh im sure its gona rock our world. this is blizzard after all, not EA or Ubisoft. Blizzard will stop development on a game if they feel its not gona be great. though i do hope this evolves from the build a base, gather resources, horde a uber unit and go crazy their last strategy games where.

edit, watched the excellent CG trailer and gameplay trailer. i kinda wish blizzard would move out of the stylized look of their games and into a something more life-like. but now at least it looks like we will have nice large scale armies and not these small unit counts. i hope there will be a collectors edition similar to Warcraft III's
