Rambo-16AAB 0 Posted April 27, 2007 Is this a bug or an engine limitation:- Throwing a grenade at a window usually results in you dying horrible by your own grenade as it bounces back. Not very handy for building clearence. So is this a bug or engine limitation ?
Maddmatt 1 Posted April 27, 2007 The grenade must have missed the window. I have managed to get them in windows before, but it's pretty damn hard.
OrLoK 20 Posted April 28, 2007 hello, don't know if its an engine limitation but its been the same since ofp. I fact getting your "toon" to do anything in game is a struggle, only thing i didn't like about ofp and now arma (vbs too). Although i think there's another thread covering that. It is possible though, just hard. Personally i never use nades as animation is lengthy and exposes you to fire. My advice is to use any weapon with a grenade launcher sluung under it. Much more accurate, just keep your distance rgds LoK
-SWAF-Lunatic 0 Posted April 28, 2007 To be fair, when doing house clearance most people are trained to post them through the door as double glazing and plastic/wood frames usually spoil your day. Unless a window had no form of frame and glass, then the door works best.
Rambo-16AAB 0 Posted April 29, 2007 I used the window as an example, thers an invisable forcefield round doors too, unless the grenade passes through the exact centre ( well not exactly exact, but you get the idea )
