BIS-Let US choose Flight Model!!!

Been hearing many people online grumbling about the flight model on helicopters being too difficult - I DISAGREE!! They've also been stating that 1.06 will make it simple. NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!&#3 3;
I use a good stick setup, and the flight model is more 'real' than flight-sim. ***It's a challenge and it's FUN to fly, many other flyers feel the same.

PLEASE BIS hear my plea! ***If you must bow-to-pressure from these others that cannot enjoy realistic flying, then PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make the difficuly setting optional for the users!!
Maybe a slider-control for 'realism' or a few options that non-flyers can tick to make it simple just for them. ***I've not been disappointed by ArmA flying in helicopters so far - but if you make it dumbed-down then IMHO you'll put real flyers off the game completely, myself included.

Leave us the choice please!!!!!!

I have only 1 grumble that the pedals are too ineffective at medium speeds + an option or slider to increase the effectiveness might be one of the useful options ? ***Same for joystick axes - I have the axes on my actual joystick itself tuned down as default is way too sensitive. ***Sensitivity sliders for those in-game might help the others too to enjoy the flight model properly! ***I think that the sensitivity is their main issue!!!!

the tool I use to lessen the sensitivity of the X/Y axes is found here.. It works on ANY make of joystick, not just wingman (including my saitek ones).

i agree, the flight model is quite good now, and like you say, some sensivity bars for the axis stick is a must have in a game, i cant understand why it doesnt have.

Flying helicopters is ArmA is just fine and fun.

But planes are near to impossible to handle with mouse/keyboard. Serious flightsimmers own a joystick for that of course. But as all other aspects in ArmA can be controlled with the mouse+keyboard combo perfectly, I think planes should be too.

I don't see a "fine" flight model in ArmA, ist rather clumsy, unprecise and on top of it, in nearly every aspect wrong in terms of belivable flight dynamics.

I have never flying real chopper, but flightmodel in arma feels very realistic. Please, don't destroy it by sipmlifing it. We have enough Bf's for them who want play a warGAME.

Exactly! Only difference being that joystick flying in ArmA feels really helo´ish now.
I started to like the new flight model and don´t wanna see it changed for something "easier".

Just like any craft it takes time to learn. The kids can complain about it being "too hard"... but thats the very thing we need.. to weed them out. If they don't have the patience to learn, well... thats their problem.
