505 version - 1.05 Patching Problems

Hi

A friend of mine is having problems patching his 505 Version (from amazon.co.uk) to 1.05.

He can play ArmA as 1.04 before any patches, but as soon as he patches he gets about 20-30 errors about the addon files.

Each error is like that. He then has lots of pop ups asking if he would like to ignore or retry etc for each error message. He has tried everything.

He has reinstalled 3 times and patch does the same each time. I've checked the file size of my version of the patch with his copy of the patch and they are both exact (to the nearest byte).

Something that may affect the patch which i'm not to sure about. He is running Windows Vista Home Premium (32-Bit).

ArmA works fine, when it comes to patching the patch stops working and the game needs to be reinstalled.

I've searched the forum but found no definate solution to the problem.

Hmmm? try re-downloading the patch again from a different place/site incase its corrupt?

also make sure he has no un-official addons in his addons folder?

He doesnt have any mods or addons. I'll get him to redownload the patch.
