Thread: Veteran Mode -  version 1.05

  1. #1
    Hello,
Do you know how to set the veteran mode in a dedicated server with the 1.05 patch ?
In the previous version (1.02) you just had to put a code line on the .exe (-profile=”…è[root]…”) that was fetching the [xxxx.ArmaProfile]…
I tried the same but it doesn’t work on this version.

    Can anyone help please ?

    Thanks in advance

The location for the -profiles has changed, because of the "MPMissionsCache being used as a profile as well" bug. All you need to do is readjust to the new location.

Me I have anything to change in the bond for launching Arma. I have just to change the user in users/users/server-vet/ and all functions.

.. or you could change the profiles not contain the users to avoid the users\users, like this:

    <table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">-profiles=e&#58;&#92;Games&#92;ArmA
instead of what you used before:

    <table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">-profiles=e&#58;&#92;Games&#92;ArmA&#92;users
If you want the profiles to be present in the main game directory, like they were in the OFP, you should be able to use very simple

    <table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">-profiles=
or

    <table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">-profiles=.
