Ok.. So you beat off the attack on the base then apparently drive a truck to pick up beta squadron from the airfield..

Drive the truck to the base.. They all run off.. You drive back to the base from which you came from..

    Mission end?

I could have made that mission in about 2 mins.. For this bugged as hell mission to be actually includd in the 'campaign' is beyond belief....

I dont expect that the campaign will get a complete overhaul in 1.05, its just a crappy campaign, thank god that the engine is good.

Agreed. Very let down by the campaign.. It's well outclassed by a 5 year old ofp campaign which is crazy...

I wonder if maybe they didn't have dedicated mission designers, but had the programmers knock up something in a hurry at the very end of the development cycle. They should have hired the ones who did the Retaliation campaign. That was the finest user-made campaign I have ever played.

another idea that ive seen mentioned before is that the official campaign was just to show you what could be done with the game leaving members to create their own missions with better detail.

Even so, with proper beta testing they could at least have assured that all these "demo" missions work properly.
