Fireplace idea is obviously stupid.
Would the setdamage command work on the pumps? Look in the wiki. You could also de-pbo any mission that does that and have a look.
We need another big Fire Smoke Script that would be cool, tried to get one working myself but the scripting was too much for me..

Edit1: Also That Picture you saw wasnt a oil pump on fire but a tank burning, but it looked as if the oil pump was on fire but as you can see in my video its east to make, but it only lasts untill the fire goes out.
is that what you wanted?
Get an Empty Bus
Place over the oil pump
Add this into the Bus Init Field..
the bus fits perfect over the pump.

I don't know which missions have that effect, I only have the demo. But as I said the setdamage scripting command should work.
Now i see .. in the video
the oil pumps must not be destroyed.. because i want to be able to turn off the fire/smoke
also the pumps may/should move
im quite sure that the inflame true on the object would not work.. its would be too simple ^^

looks like the pump is damaged..
But i want it working and burning like in that movie: is it possible to have both things working at same time?
