Thread: Zoom Commander Optics on the M1A1?

  1. #1
    Hey All,

Is it just me, or is it not possible to zoom the optics of the Commander in the M1A1, Gunner in the Stryker etc?

The normal zoom seems to work fine on the gunner position of the M1A1, Sniper Soldiers and Cobra, but I'm stuck on the above.

I have searched on the forum, but can't find anyone really talking about this. (Though it would be great if the search could take you to particular posts in a thread, not just to the start of a thread that might be 30 pages long.)

    Cheers,
    Axek.

You are right Sgt. Eversman. I noticed the same thing.

Another thing I have noticed is that when I order "target" it switches to an external view. Anybody else with this kind of problem?

If a search indicates that there's a hit in a large thread the key to finding that hit is viewing the thread, clicking print which then shows the whole thread in one page, then use ctrl+f with the search term you're looking for.

Use the existing bug thread please.

    It's the M1A1 optics thread.

The guy says that when he right clicks, to target, the view switches. That's because he's mapped (Though I believe it's default) his right click to both the target and and toggle gunsight view. If he removes the toggle for the gunsight view, then his problem will be fixed.

I had this same issue originally and I'm sure that others would benefit from knowing about it too.

    Cheers,
    Axek.

If someone reports an issue/complains about the Alpha etc, replying in the thread "dude it's an alpha" doesn't really help anyone! Point them to the Arma3 Alpha feedback tracker instead please!

Please do not PM or Email me directly about your CD Key issues, follow the guidance in this thread instead.
