Persisting server mission data

Can anyone suggest a method by which to persist mission data to the dedi server (WHEN we get the software - hopefully soon'ish ) only...

I've scanned the Wiki scripting commands for a corresponding 'SaveFile' command to compliment the 'LoadFile' command already present in OFP but cannot locate one...

I'm keen for something like this too, not only for saving persistent data, but as a way for the server to be able to push/pull values to/from an external process.

Otherwise, the ability to communicate to another process, perhaps via a socket or something at a higher level like http.
