arma for me loads really slow and i have got
AMD 4000+ 64 BIT
1GB 2X512MB PC3200 DUAL RAM
NVIDIA FX5200 and im finding it really slow,
i guess its my graphics card even tho its 128.
can somebody reccomend a card, not too expensive
that any good? and is GeForce 7100 good?:P
I believe you wuill have to go higher thana 7100. I think 7900 minimum for a good gaming performance.
Its your HDD. A graphics card has no impact on loading times.
get a geforce 7600GT for about Ł90 brand new (256mb model)i just upgraded from a radeon x1300pro and the game runs amazing now.
That graphics card still need a replacement though . I once had a 5700LE, very similar and it was horrible.

The hard drive could probably use a replacement aswell. As for the graphics card, stay away from that 7100! A 7600 will be ok, but the higher you go the better.
Thats cheap, bloody hell! Are you sure?

Yeah, the FX series was the worst GFX card family ever released by nVidia.

Your HDD must be slow as hell then (or improperly installed / bottlenecked). You could use another gig of ram, too. 1GB won't cut anymore.

And that X1300LE is a waste of money. You won't get anything above 15fps @ 1280x1024. Even an old X850XT would fare better; it lacks SM 3.0, tho.
