Thread: Out of reserved memory NOMAP IS ON

  1. #1
It's really annoying when I get the reserved memory error all the time. I tried nomap and it worked for a while. The terrain settings are "normal" so I don't know why this is happening. I tried removing all the addons but still it happens.

Experimenting with lowering your detail settings wouldn't hurt.

Some users reported defragmenting their drive helped them with this issue.

Open properties of the C: drive, select Tools, Defragment Now, Defragment.

(Depending on your drive size and fragmentation this may take very long, even a few hours).

I can't start it up. Oh, and I hope defragmenting my 600gb hard drive won't take too long !

Edit the flashpoint.cfg via Notepad then (lying in your OFP root).

What you want to do is possible, depending on your imagination and the way you implement it

Make a back up copy first mind.
If you can't beat them, throw harsh language at them
