I am not usre if this really belongs i nthe mission section, but it is about "addons", so...here goes...

I'm planning on giving all of you a new mission to play with. ***It's about 90% or so done (needs some shine to it) but I'm curious if most of you have these addons already. ***I don't want to make something that's tooooo hard to play because you have to download tons of stuff. Thanks! and I hope you enjoy this new soon to come mission .....hint: "Savage"

Yes, they are quite common. The Airwolf Mod's addons aren't that common (minus the VW van, it's a must for everyone so you can drive around protesting Vietnam war with The Beatles blasting) but they're easy to obitain and besides, who hasn't tried them yet, should.

Depends on the size of the mission though, I wouldn't care downloading 100Mb of addons for a 5min mission.

Got to agree. If the mission is good I'll download everything there. If it's shit I won't.

The few people left out there with 56k do have a strong case for not liking lots of addons in thier missions but really you can't hold back progress on their account. Release the mission, time will tell whether it was worth the addons.

    Good luck with it.

It's actually the opposite. There are the few people out there who have broadband. Broadband access is only available in a few very limited areas.

i have only the baracken addon, but as somebody said before - if the mission is worth it, i'll download anything.

most OFP players are located in Europe (according to the Map locator). and Broadband is quite widespread there.

I think over 70% of the people here use broadband. if not, they can always arm themselves with an USB stick and go to school .

Hehe, that's exactly what I did before I got broadband. ***

Well, actually, to begin with I used to download a ton of addons at a time and burn them onto a CD. But hey, the point is, I got all major ofp sites blocked at my school. ***

    Good to know.

I was a little worried about adding in lots of stuff. To be honest, I actually cut it back and took out about 12 other addons.....heh... as for the mission, it'll certainly be over an hour long. This misison is based on true real life inccidents and facts, and it'll be up to the player to play the part of a fictional outcome. There's lots of important scene setting audio. But as for addons, I'll put in the troublemakers too for I'm getting the idea it's not so much the amount of addons, but the amount of quality portrayed in the mission, so I'm hoping you'll all like it and i'll throw in a few more addons to make it even better to play... hint "Savage"

    thanks all!
