No explosions

My specs:
CPU:1.5GHz
Video: 32mb AtiRadeon7500 (Latest Catalyst Driver with DX9.0)
RAM: 512
I have Gold edition, and its 1.96. I have encountered NO bugs, but when there is an explosion, there is no fancy flames or anything else. Just a crater. When a vehicle gets destroyed there is a crater and the destroyed vehicle but no explosion of flames.
I have tryed not applying any patches too but the explosions still don't show up. Please help!

goto your video settings and look for something to turn on called cloudlets.

K I'll try that. Is this a common problem? Because I don't think cloudlets have anything to do with flames.
By the way, Wat is nosplash? could be problem!!!

nosplash wont be the problem but i would recomend you try it at the end of your ofp shortcut in the properties add -nomap -nosplash this will decrease loading time of ofp and also i think will make ofp crash less due to error with memory or something along those lines

Also i dont have any fancy flames or anything with ofp never have done only smoke but with ECP, FFUR and other packs whcih have fire i get fire effects then.
