Has anyone found the hidden content yet?

Placebo posted in the Gamespot forum that there is some hidden stuff related to the view distance possibly. Here is the link to what he said:

I'm not quite done with the campaign yet, but it may be hidden in the editor or somewhere else to unlock it. Actually, I'm going to go check the option menu right now...

I don't know about that but I suggest you to play the game on xmas. I think that BIS might have added some easter eggs, or should we say xmas gifts for those who plays it on xmas.

Wouldnt it be cruel and unusual to have a game support more view distance and not have it at maximum by default? Unless they assumed the game wouldnt be popular at first, and it could get huge publicity for having a graphics engine that improved after Christmas day 2005, that would be just insane.

Maybe there is a feature involving view distance, like drawing only certain things further or in certain ways. Maybe a hidden blank dogfighting level with no island or view distance limitation?

Probably just an option to get unlimited points for mission making, for those who dont mind low framerates?

Well ive finished both campaigns all the single player missions and all the instant action missions and all ive unlocked is a sense of self satisfaction. but no hidden content.

Hmm, unlimited points with lower framerate sounds feasible. Best thing I've heard so far. Still no clue how to unlock whatever it is though.

I could imagine that unlocking stuff will only be accessible when you finished the game on mercenary difficulty - did you do that?

No i havent, but i did start it on Merc just after i posted.

I did notice that the picture next to the hidden content bit on flashpointelite.com had the difficulty set to Regular though.

Usually Features menus have things like Trailers, Behind the Scenes, concept art, etc.

I'm guessing a trailer for Armed Assault on the PC.

It could be anything, though.
