And in my view Red Hammer wasn't at all good.
#1 reason why i won't miss the Red Hammer. i hated how none of the new vehicles and weapons were used in the new campaign, i hated how Lukin was able to lead troops, go on special-ops missions, man a tank, and fly a chopper all by himself. then there were the missions, "The Alamo" being the worst followed by the two missions where Lukin and the medic guy (forgot his name), had to escape off of Malden by stealing back a captured Mi17 and the next mission where you had to hijack a repair truck to fix your damn ride after getting shot down.
better off just making my own ruskie missions in the mission editor.

I think Atari is cool in a very retro way and I sometimes wonder if Atari didn't secure its future by having its logo present in the neon lighting of the cityscape of the enduring Sci-Fi movie "Blade Runner" (which STILL seems like a futuristic-looking movie, over two decades later).

"Additionally, Operation Flashpoint: Elite sports context sensitive orders that can negate the amount of time you spend in menus. For instance, selecting all your soldiers, aiming at a point on the ground and then pulling the Right Trigger will order all soldiers to move to that point. Likewise, training your sights on a known enemy will cause your squad to attack that enemy. This means that with practice, you can issue complex orders very quickly. I would say it is even more effective and intuitive than the radial system common to the Rainbow Six and Ghost Recon games on Xbox."

The emboldened bit had me worried for the last 30 hours. I was afraid that our primary weapon might not fire unless we were pointed in the direction of the enemy.

So relieved to see that this was something done while in the command menu.

I like to perform "recon by fire", sometimes, especially when snipers are around.

It really sounds like they have seriously streamlined the command menu.

It's still weird that they didn't include Red Hammer. Codemasters is the publisher, so they would get more money if more copies were sold. And it's probably a higher chance of people buying the game if it has three campaigns instead of two. Maybe not much, but I'd imagine it could make a small difference. Besides, why not?

I guess this is related to cam´s for cutscenes.
There are a couple of screenshots that show the unit/objects in front clear and detailed while the background gets a bit blurry.
I guess that´s what it is.
    Like that pic for example:

I'm sure it could be implemented in a tactical FPS by focusing on whatever the crosshairs are pointed out.

Nice work BIS the game looks all set to rule the roost on the Xbox then eh .

I am now more looking forward to ArmA after hearing about that intelligent AI use of building.

P.S: When the hell will Gamespot do a review , they got bloody BF2 plastered all over for a review .
