Okay, since the behaviour on the "Sole" topic has gone out of hand... I'll start a new topic and see if people can't keep thier mouths in a respectable tone. ***

    First
    1) Textures: ***I'm not primarily concerned with them at this current time. ***That right now is the "easy" part, compared to everything else I still have to yet get to. ***Quit bugging me about it, I can see them too.

    2) Vertical stabilizers: ***I don't know why it's so important. ***It doesn't mean anything in OFP/VBS1 since it uses the Helicopter flight model. ***But so you will be quiet, I added some (see below)

    3) Movable nacelles: ***Let me get to that bridge when I cross it okay? ***I got my priorities set in place on what I want accomplished first. ***Constant nagging questions are going to be ignored. ***I'm 29 years old, I can think for myself on what I need to do.

    4) The above goes for everything else. ***If you want something so bad, there's the beta on OFP.info, find it, get it, and work on it yourself.

    5) This won't be done anytime soon, ***it is workable (very workable...), but like Sole's original, it is still beta.

    Next....

Got the gear doors semi working, just have to work on the right side, as it's just not wanting to work with me.

And so you all can sleep well at night:

No they aren't going to be more detailed at the moment.

Good luck with it. I have faith that you'll get it to do everything you want it to.

You think its possible to get a better tail picture. Cant see what's what there really. And I found the previous design without the stabilizers cooler. Reminded me of the Orca Fighters or the Ospreys from GHost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex.

Orca Fighters? ***I have the first season of Stand Alone Complex, though the "Osprey" has a more conventional tail layout. ***Though I can get a couple more pictures of the tail section:

I think if you are going to release it looking like that, you should "market" it not as an Osprey, but as a fictional creation of your own, which it is, really
Original OFP-er and 'old' on here, with little to no idea what's going on these days, so go easy on me. Cheers mate!

Yeah, but I would think "MV-80 Osprey III" makes it different, doesn't it? Kinda like the B-52 Stratofortress and the EB-52 Megafortress from Flight of the Old Dog. ***It shares some of the components of the base aircraft (general shape, etc.) yet, is totally different.

I mean for real, where do you see "V-22" anywhere? ***Hell it's on it's own classname......

Maybe it can be of some use for you : look at the Wanzer pack from Gigan .
The author, made a fantastic script to allow one of his wanzer , that is defined and move as a helicopter class, to behave like a plane by an action menu choice.

Certainly it would be perfect for any kind of Osprey.
