Has there been an official statement regarding a beta testing program?

I know this is not something BIS historically has done but with a firmly established community and a pool of demonstrated talent out there that has (in some cases) pushed the OFP1 engine to the limits I think it is about time BIS seriously considered it.

Whether by invitation only or through a beta signup/evaluation program there would be plenty of volunteers to help ensure the product is as polished as possible when hits the shelves.

Any official comment from BIS? Placebo..you out there buddy?

I think that Bis will consider it in about half a year, now is way too early .

"what goes on the internet, stays on the internet"

so sending people a beta is... "risky" , to say the least.

Lol, at this stage it would do more harm than good, im sure Codemasters and all competition would enjoy it .
Now you dont want their proprietary, technological achievements stolen do you ? . Also it wouldnt be fair because everybody would want it and most are already complaining about the pre-alpha pictures, also i dont think their current build is playable enough at this stage.
Maybe a early demo when its close to completion...

BIS are careful and I think, that they don't release OFP2 BETA for fans.

I thought about this many times. Don't think that we have a chance!

Should we decide to do a public beta test we'll announce it, publicly

Until then there's really no point thinking too much about such a thing
If someone reports an issue/complains about the Alpha etc, replying in the thread "dude it's an alpha" doesn't really help anyone! Point them to the Arma3 Alpha feedback tracker instead please!

Please do not PM or Email me directly about your CD Key issues, follow the guidance in this thread instead.
