Colossus 2 Posted January 9, 2005 I was thinking of reinstall OFP again, but I have lost track on what kind of grapichal effects that addonmakers have created. Is there any other effects besides DXDLL? PS: Always forget the adresse to OFP.info, someone got a link?
Sgt_Eversmann 1 Posted January 9, 2005 Hi ehm besides DXDLL is nothing else. DXDLL makes Post Processing and Water Relfections possible. If you mean something with Special Effects like ECP mod then Ecp MOD, Flash FX 1.8, and some others http://www.ofp.info
sanctuary 19 Posted January 9, 2005 You can have the new skies or waters too, several people made different ones A search on the forum and OFP.info should help to locate them all
eestikas88 0 Posted January 9, 2005 It would be great if something like DXDLL would come on Geforce4 mx series. Now that would be an effect!

h - 169 Posted January 9, 2005 May I ask why donwloading them is 'not good for the computer'?? Last I checked I have all those and more and no harm has come to my dear 'ol pc yet...
Colossus 2 Posted January 9, 2005 I'm aware of the danger, I have done this before But thx for the warning. PS: One more thing I need to my shopping list, which animation addon is best?
eestikas88 0 Posted January 9, 2005 I meant they can make game slow and make errors come like 'modespecial' error what pisses you off so much that you want to destroy your computer. But as the animations check the forums there are animations to replace the old ones and new things too. hardrock 1 Posted January 9, 2005 Why don't you just let your downloads on your harddisk and make a backup of the download folder? My addons are all in several mod folders, and when I do a reinstall I just backup the mod folders and here it is all again without anything to download. h - 169 Posted January 9, 2005 Quite... There're only the Mods that have the main config altered that don't match together and cause those errors... And usually the Mod's readme clearly state that... Some rare AddOns may collide, but I have not experienced that but once or twice... I use mod folders for everything so the main AddOns folder(s) are vanilla....
