orson 0 Posted December 25, 2004 I was recently using PBOtool to quickly pack my PBO as its nice and quick ... makes editing addons easier ... it started as normal  but to my horror ,it then froze ... everything froze up , so i left it for 5 to see if the processes work themselvs out... but nothing... so i re-booted . The freeze may have been down to my rig , its been doing that a bit now and then . On a re-boot i started work again .. only to find that 3 LODS had been wiped out   The Fire Geometry , Hit Points and Geometry had been erased  Not a massive amount of work to do again ... but i am very lucky it wasnt a view LOD like the 0.00 I dont really know the point of this thread other than a cautionary tale for others ... advice being backup frequently while using 3rd party tools...no matter how well they seem to work . *edit* After a virus check i found what may have been the cause of my problems.. I had been infected by a Trojan and i wonder whether this is linked I have no SP3X folders on my HD Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
