I just had to get my computer fixed because this software messed up. anyone else have this prob?

You might want to start by telling us what the problem was in the first place, instead of telling us "it messed up" and you took it in to get it fixed.

I'm in the process of ridding my comp of spyware.

So far, I've noticed that my FDF mod which i use to run my OFP off of is locking up (freezes during black screen prior to menu)

I'm not 100% sure if this is due to spyware but it sure is a coincidence if it's not.

Spyware is a likely candidate for problems including : fragmentagtion of HDD, performance slow downs, increased cpu usage, file corruption, out of memory errors, and even BSOD's.

It's possible that it caused your freeze up.
