    Hi everybody.
I'm not willing to let this topic die. I'm a very ostinated person. It is really sad that, nobody's interested in missions anymore. Facts are speaking for themselves (watch the replies)

This is for those who are still playing missions. This is a real challenge. For all you hardcore players out there this won't be new.

    SP Mission: TJ's Airaid
    Author: TJ
    Ofp-Resistance needed
No third party addons needed, as far as I know.
    Brief Description:
Eastern surprise attack at the airport. And you are inbetween all this mess. The enemy is going to throw anything at their *** disposal at you. They must take the airport at any cost.

    Personal comment:
This is a very tough mission. Smart enemy AI behaviour. Attacks coming in waves, and you're under constant pressure. Had to replay this one several times to figure out the right tactics, to use.
Get this one, you won't regret it.

I've played some really good missions in the past but of course I've played some stinkers too. I wish that this thread was taken more seriously. Better exposure of good missions is another good way to redress the balance of Addons vs. missions.

    Anyway, here are my choices.

Cult Davidian. Link somewhere in this thread. Purely because of the atmosphere. It was one of the first missions I ever downloaded. Not excellant but it's still on my hard drive after all this time.

City of the dead by Asmodeus.
    http://www.ofpec.com/missions/mission_detail.php?ID=662
Again it's the atmosphere. Infiltrate a rebel held town after an artillery strike and fiddle some computers. Excellant unit placement and one of the best missions using the Delta Rangers.

    Operation LoJack by toadlife.
    http://www.ofpec.com/missions/mission_detail.php?ID=663
The mission its self is pretty basic. However, the scripting is immense. Great mission.

    Apache Assault by Charlie Howarth.

Best helicopter mission bar none. Enough said.

    Deep Water by me
    http://www.ofpec.com/missions/missio...il.php?ID=1282
Its my best mission yet. I enjoy playing it even after all the hours of testing. Plenty to do and it has a storyline.

Post referring to the beta mission by Thobson deleted as requested.
If someone reports an issue/complains about the Alpha etc, replying in the thread "dude it's an alpha" doesn't really help anyone! Point them to the Arma3 Alpha feedback tracker instead please!

Please do not PM or Email me directly about your CD Key issues, follow the guidance in this thread instead.

A touch of frost by ACF

    - Very funny cutscenes with good voiceacting. (from one man only )
    - Very nice concept.ACF made it so that you are randomly chosen as the leader of the three squads. You actually have three different missions built into one, all from the eyes of different squads, with different missions.
    - A nice replay value
    - Based on a true story.

    Revolt 1998 by KingNothing (campaign)
An excellent campaign that puts you in the role of a US Ranger helping the government of Tonal suppress an anti-democratic rebellion. There are tons of great cutscenes, giving the whole campaign a very cinematic feel that is lacking from many missions/campaigns. A fair amount of addons are required, but believe me, it is WELL worth it for a campaign of this length and quality. And playing with all these addons and this great island makes OFP look GOOD again, compared to BIS stuff. Frame rate suffers a bit though, and it might require either a good system, or lowering of your graphics options.

    One of my favorites

    Mission Name: With Extreme Prejudice
    Author: alimag
    Download: http://www.ofpec.com/missions/missio...il.php?ID=1286
Description: High ranking members of diverse terrorist organizations are actually meeting in Tonali.
After a missile strike on the target building a Delta Force platoon will move in and finish the job. All terrorrists must be killed.

This is an opportunity that we cannot miss...

The mission can be played as squad member, squad leader or platoon leader. You can also choose your squad if you are squad member/leader.

To paraphrase the old advert, I liked it so much I wrote the walkthrough.
Retaliation is obviously one of my favorite campaign. Also worth mentioning but not of the same kind is REVOLT 1998 by King Nothing :a master piece.

Edit : ooops, sounds like I missed the post from General Barron
