hmm i think you can but you need 2 seperate games to play online because all games come with a unique player ID number in your player's profile. if you have the 1.96 patch u dont need the cd just run the .exe and it should start up. im bot really sure because i dont have GOTY.

You need both a different cd-key, even on LAN. Otherwise you get a message when you connect =).

there are cheats that change your player ID i think...

Hi, this is going to get weird.
It`s 1 Copy per Computer.
Using the same Copy on another Computer with hacked ID or serial is ILLEGAL.
