Ok when i go to the multiplayer screen and go to remote click on there to join byip. I type in the ip and press enter the whole game locks up and wont go anywhere. i usely have to restart my computer. I hope someone can help me. by the way it happens in 1.46 and 1.96.

Please post your system specs, including (but not limited to) firewall used, router/switch (if applicable)
If someone reports an issue/complains about the Alpha etc, replying in the thread "dude it's an alpha" doesn't really help anyone! Point them to the Arma3 Alpha feedback tracker instead please!

Do you have ZoneAlarm running on your PC?
It is a "user friendly" firewall soft, I guess. Let me guess: you are connected, turned on your OFP and then multi. That's what happened next:
-firewall asked u (in the background, so u can't see this) if U will allow this app to access internet.
-OFP locked itself.
That's what U have to do:
-go to your firewall control panel and add OFP to apps allowed to access internet.
BTW, I hate zone alarm. I haven't seen a bigger crap yet.

Ok i have a HP 2.1 intel celeron um geforce 2 video cardstock sound card... xp...if u need more details let me know. oh i dont use any kind of firewall. and ive been play ofp sence it came out just a couple weeks ago it started doing this. so i though if i reinstall the game it should go away but it didnt and i only put the editors upgrades in only. so ya get back to me if u need more info

If you haven't already try disabling XP's built in firewall
