Can anyone steer me in the right direction and/or recommend good tutorials for learning to use Visitor and for making Configs?

can't help you, but from those replying it would also be interesting to know whether people actually use visitor to make islands?

I have the impression that most people still use wrpedit, but maybe those using visitor are stilling toiling away at their creations
