If it's really true that they removed such engine limitations as, this one-gun-only-issue and added better anims, better AI, animals, ertc. than vbs1 is a real revolution for ofp1. But the price is simply totally exaggerated. A price of 100$ would be appropiate, and such a price could possibly trigger of a new wave on interest for ofp. But 550$, NO WAY!!!
I don't think that it will get cheaper, as it's a simulation not a game.
And I don't think it makes big sense to buy VBS1 for us, since you most probably are not able to make custom addons for it. I don't know really anything about it, but it would make sense not being able to modify it in a way like we can with OFP1.
I really hope, that BIS removes the engine limitations from OFP 1, I'll pay for it, too, rather than waiting 2-x years for OFP 2.
Btw. nice fighter pilot...
whew!... well I was going to join the marines but now.....
I am going to spend a lot of money on comp games this summer.
Also, I hope everyone noted the system specs:

The Coalescent website still says that it's only available for Government purposes.
It's good to see this.
I'm a bit curious what motivates it though....
Need for money? Trouble with Codemasters?
Or perhaps they think it'll lead to large sales to other .mil around the world...
That's the Coalescent website, which deals with sales within the United States and Canada. Bohemia Interactive Australia will however ship it anywhere other than there.Originally Posted by (m21man @ May 20 2004,22:06)
