Classic.
I know I shouldn't encourage such behaivour, but it's drunken comedy gold.

Why they would ever think LSD could help troops to perform their duties is beyond me.

EditWas there a specific goal in these tests? I know LSD was tested as a mind control agent by many different countries, but this video doesn't seem like a mind control exercise.

I think it was more to show that they couldn't perform their duties. Think spiked water supplies

Wasn't LSD used by american combat pilots?

How about a fighter plane crach some time ago? They revealed that it was in practice for some time now.
Call me Delirium now. :/

No I don't think so. LSD would definitely not help a pilot fly his plane.

Maybe the original communique called for "manouvers with troop laden LSTs" and this got passed on as "manouvers with LSD laden troops".
