Hi, i'm not an experienced mission maker but i thought of something quite ambitious, probably too much for me but i would have your opinion on how feasible it could be.
My plan was to pick an island like Malden (not too big) and populate it as much as i could: civilians on every town vehicles. Military bases and outposts in places that make sense. Patrols rovin around. Then have, say two groups of troops (this would be a coop mission), deployed and have them conquer the whole island.
Its easy to just drop a huge amount of troops, and have them waiting for the enemy to kill them, but would it kill the computer too?
What would you say is the population limit on a P4 2.4GHz?
I bully polygons
well unless u have an 2.5 + (or better 3 +)
u can put there 63 units fo each group
(can´t remember the exact number)
you can do that of course but it´ll be better
spawning/removing these guy during play cuz of lag
but ít´s possible
Thanks, i think i have some more scripting research to do . I want to have as much units as possible in the main objective (a BIG convoy).
So i guess the sensible thing to do is populate the island by spawn/removal.
