    Is the ofp hind a hind E or F? both would have been around
    in 1985. anyone know?

    Not much.. the version A, B and C had a diffferent canopies but the later versions have mainly different weapons.

    I hadn't realised the A had greenhouse for a canopy!! They truly revolutionised helicopter technology - the US equivelant when the Hind was first introduced was the Huey.

    By the way, has anyone made the BIS Hind with retractable gear?
    On a scale of one to sauce, this is f*cking raveoli.

    I don't think that there's any that have been released by themselves, but there are Mi-24's with retractable gear in both the newly released CSLA 2 Mod, and in BAS's Tonal/Tango pack.
