Ground Attach II

Any suggestions on accomplishing this mission?? I've tried everything. Flying low, Flying High, Flying around and I always end up getting shot down. Is this a bug in the game? Any suggestions would be greatly apprecitated. Thanks in advance.

i got shot down myself but managed to bail out, if you can bail out and move to the area you was attacking you will find a UAZ guarded by 3 men, you can steal this and drive back to base :cool:

head to the Convoy but run at 20 feet off the water at 200 knots+

make sure you pass the convoy (will pass on your left) till it strings it self out, attack the farthest Tank (shika) 1st with a missile and you'll be clear from there on

when the hinds come come to a dead stop hover, and switch to 30 mms and let your gunner blow it out of the sky

Heh, I did this one in a really cool way I think :-).. I flew to the town that you must stop the convoy from entering.. Then I positioned myself just south of the city near the road that leads to the city.. There I just hovered while one tank after another came crawling into my gunners reticle.. When the Shilka came it didn't even have time to breathe before it was history.. After that I just quickly flew back - never saw the Hind's....

The shilka is fairly easy to kill now.
At least it didnt blow me away as much as they used to. Shooting you down well before you can see them.
They're much less accurate which I like.. tracers flying past me.

As for the Hinds, well.. they're not too hard to shoot down.. if your gunner is half competent, which he hardly ever is.. shooting at the Hind missing 70% of the time.. *sigh*
This is annoying as I could shoot it down myself quite easily, but I'm not the gunner.. bah.
I usually find manual fire and rockets work easier

I've just about given up on this mission. Its not fair. I constantly get shot out of nowhere. I even tried to hover and wait and sure enough I get banged. What can I do??

I finished it easily the only time I tried.

Just fly low and use trees for cover, then pop up and kill the Shilka. The hinds and Su25 are a cakewalk after that.

i killed the SU25 and hind with hellfire lol. kinda sad.
