I personally thought it sucked! The game on a scale of 1 to 10 I would give a 9 because I don't care how good you are, there's always room for improvement. What I've experienced of the American and Russian campaigns I would so far give a 5 because there's not much of a story line there. Just go here kill these people, go there kill those people, very mechanical and impersonal. Plus there's really no reasons behind why the one mission led to the next. But of that awesome campaign, resistance, I think they should have scrapped the last mission and the ending and done a completely different one! If I was in charge of the making of the game, I would have fired whoever came up with the idea for the ending!

SEVERE SPOILERS BELOW!!

I start the last mission by the house and turn to my right to kill the four spetznaz soldiers coming running and cussing down the hill but I end up taking a half a dozen attempts to kill those guys! Never have I found four people so hard to kill! I didn't like though that Gastovski was defeated. Through the game, I got the feeling that he was one of those heroes above the action, above death and defeat regardless of what reality says. Anyway, I finally kill those dang spetznaz soldiers and I bolt for the airport. On the way I hear all the tanks in resistance hands get killed. All of them! Everyone's dying, then I get to the airport, hear shooting, I hit the dirt and see two russian soldiers bolting to the southwest retreating. I make my way up to the south side of the southern most hanger and peek around to see a crap load of dead bodies and a friendly T55 calmly sitting there. I kill all three planes and expect a victorious ending despite the loss of my entire tank army, save that one single T55 and the murder of Liz. I get to the cut scene and figure out that I would have been better off not finishing the campaign! The cutscene starts, Victor gets cornered by two tank columns and a squad of soldiers, and proceeds to get shot to death and blown to bits! Then the armour proceeds to the resistance hideout and kills every last resistance soldier under Victor's command save Geronimo. Geronimo appears to be the only resistance fighter on the island to live. Then the Americans show up, blow up the tanks and kill the soldiers. Guba gets in a helicopter and bolts to the USSR never to be heard from again. Gastovski retires after all he's been through and the civilians elect a new government. And to top it all off, a few missions back, Liz is murdered!! All in all I'm not sure what ending would be better, winning or losing!
