Vapour trails

i was wondering if anybody could make a vapour trail, for ground troops to look up and see the vapour trail of a high plane would be cool. im completley useless at scripting and stuff
and hopefully we can see something similar on ofp2

AFAIK military aircraft do not leave much of a vapour trail, or at least don't fly high enough to give one.
plus a constant smoke effect will be VERY resource-eating. Lag would be very great.
A nice idea, but is it needed?

you could make a new sky texture with vapor tails...
